Description

Spend a fun morning in the museum garden. Learn how to draw plants from life, understand how and why they grow and explore how other artists have painted plants over the years.

Suitable for 8 years +

£8 per person

Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for the outdoors. This workshop will go ahead whatever the weather. In the event of a sunny day, please bring a hat/cap and sun cream.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend but need to book and take part too.

Please note that this workshop is educational as well as creative, with language and content aimed at children aged 8+. It is not recommended for younger children.

Description

Housed in a Grade II* listed Tudor building in Waltham Abbey, the museum tells the story of the district through its collections and displays. The newly redeveloped museum features six galleries, the opportunity to see behind the scenes, a lift making the entire building accessible and lovely new community space for all to use.
