Salary £17,419 - £19,430 pro rata per annum plus £840 Inner Fringe Allowance pro rata per annum
We are looking for a Youth Engagement Assistant to work 18 hours per week supporting our Youth Engagement Officer within the busy Community Services Team.
The role provides an administrative and organisation support to the Epping Forest Youth Council and to assist in the coordination and delivery of a range of wider projects and initiatives for young people aged between 11 and 19.
You will help to promote youth democracy to local young people, produce agendas and minutes as required, you will assist in the promotion of the Youth Council via the use of social media and assist with the coordination of youth engagement projects within local schools and will oversee the data collection and collation of information for various projects. The role also includes payment of invoices and monitoring a small budget.
Experience of working in an office environment and working with young people is essential and you should have the ability to use MS Offices applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
You will be educated to a standard of literacy and numeracy in line with the effective delivery of all administrative and organisational tasks associated with this role.
The post will be based at the Community Services offices at 25 Hemnall Street, Epping and will be subject to DBS checks.
