Active Epping Forest
Active Epping Forest was launched on the 19th October 2016 at Loughton Cricket Club.
The aim is to develop a community led group that can help grow participation in physical activity in the district by sharing best practice, applying for funding and growing capacity through training and recruitment.
The group will be made up of local community representatives from all walks of life, with varied interest and experience in physical and leisure activity.
There will be a minimum of three meetings a year and an annual general meeting which will determine the groups priorities and the work that needs to be done through the course of the year.
Active Epping Forest is always looking for new members and ideas so if you are interested in joining the group or expressing your views please contact Fabrizio firstname.lastname@example.org Tel 01992564567
As part of Active Epping Forest each year we will also be running a variety of training courses aimed at helping develop the skill set locally and ultimately grow the capacity and quality of physical and leisure provision including:
- Emergency First Aid
- Safeguarding and Child Protection for sport
- Grant Funding Workshop
