Assisted collections are for residents who find it difficult (due to mobility issues) to put their household recycling and waste at the boundary of the property on their scheduled collection day. We can arrange to have it collected from a mutually convenient place on their property.
Who can have an assisted collection?
Any resident that finds it difficult moving their household recycling or waste due to age, infirmity, illness or disability, is eligible for an assisted collection. This is providing there is no-one else in their household, or a willing neighbour, who is capable of moving the waste to the boundary for collection on their behalf.
To request an assisted collection you will need to complete an ‘assisted collection request form’.
