Personal safety, help and advice

Personal safety is a topic that concerns all of us. People often think of personal safety as being about issues such as keeping yourself safe when returning from a night out, but there are lots of other types of personal safety situations that you need to be aware of.

Throughout the years the Youth Council have continued to consult with young people on the issues that need to be addressed and personal safety has always been high on the agenda. The Youth Council has put together various guides and factsheets to help young people to keep themselves safe and deal with these issues if they arise.

Factsheets

We have put together a selection of factsheets containing advice on a range of personal situations and you can download copies of these factsheets using the links below. We have also compiled a number of external website links where you will find further advice, help and guidance on how to stay safe in a range of different social situations as well as links to a range of other useful information for young people.
