
Essex County Council elections suspended
7 February 2025
The Government has agreed for the Essex County Council elections in 2025 to be suspended in light of the proposed Local Government Reform and the creation of an Essex Mayor.
The County Council elections in May 2025 will now not go ahead. There are no planned elections in the Epping Forest district until 2026 following last years all out elections.
