Ukraine invasion anniversary remembered

Epping Forest District Council is flying the Ukrainian flag on Monday 24 February to mark 3 years since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.
Message of support to all Ukrainians
For the past 3 years, Epping forest has opened its doors to support the Ukrainians displaced by the war in Ukraine. On 24 February Epping Forest District Council will fly the Ukrainian flag to show our continued solidarity with them.
By flying the Ukrainian flag we want to send a clear message of support to all Ukrainians who have chosen to make Epping Forest and the UK their home. We will continue to hope for the imminent stop to the fighting and arrival of peace.
