Request CCTV images

We use closed circuit television (CCTV) to record, view and monitor activity for crime detection, prevention of anti-social behaviour and public safety. It is also be known as video surveillance systems (VSS).

CCTV is a valuable tool in the fight against crime and anti-social behaviour. It can be used as evidence in a court of law and can deter criminal activity.

Members of the public cannot request CCTV footage through this form, please email safercommunities@eppingforestdc.gov.uk for further information.

Costs

CCTV requests are chargeable with the exception of law enforcement agencies such as the Police. This is separate from subject access requests.

The costs includes labour time, statements, sundries, storage media, secure delivery and all administration.
