Neil Hudson (Conservative Party) is elected as the new MP to represent the people of the Epping Forest constituency.

The result of the UK general election held on 4 July was declared by Acting Returning Officer Georgina Blakemore at 3.10am from the count centre in Chigwell. Turnout was 59%.

  • Thomas Hall – Shared Ground – 568
  • Simon Heap – Green Party – 2,486
  • Neil Hudson – Conservative Party – 18,038 Elected
  • Ed Pond – Independent – 3,037
  • Jon Whitehouse – Liberal Democrats – 5,268
