Apply for local land charge search

Form LLC1 and personal searches are carried out by HM Land Registry. A personal search is a search of the local land charges register only and does not reveal the full information that is provided by an official search.

CON29 search

Apply and pay for a CON29 local land charge search.

How to submit a CON29 search

  • Complete the online form and upload a plan of the site
  • If clarification regarding the number of parcels to be searched is needed, email ContactLLC@eppingforestdc.gov.uk before submitting your search
  • Requests will be accepted once payment is received
  • The results will be emailed to you within 10 working days

Important information

  • We only accept payment online
  • We only accept searches in digital form using the above link or through the NLIS website. Do not submit searches by post or email as they will be rejected
  • We only start a search once all the information we receive is correct and payment has been made
  • Searches will be returned by email. The turnaround time will be shown in our automated email response
  • If a Q22 has been requested with a basic search, it will usually be returned directly to you before the other parts of the search
  • If you have a query with a returned Q22 answer, you will need to contact Essex County Council – email Environmental.TeamDuty@essex.gov.uk
