About your bins
The standard size bin is 180-litres. We do not supply a second green-lidded food and garden waste bin. Find out where to take your excess garden waste here.

Cost of a new or replacement bin
- £32 for a 140-litre bin (if you decide you want the standard 180-litre bin you will need to pay £35 and return your 140-litre bin)
- £35 for a 180-litre bin (standard size black bin for non-recyclable waste and green-lidded bin for food and garden waste)
- £38 for a 240-litre bin
- £46 for a 340-litre bin
Report a repair to a bin
If a bin is damaged because of normal wear and tear, we can repair it. There is no charge if repairs can be done to the lids, wheels, axle or lugs – the pins that hold the lid in place.
If a bin is beyond repair, you may be charged for a replacement bin.
