
Stay Safe and Well this Spring success
The Stay Safe and Well this Spring event in Epping was a hit with residents attracting over 60 attendees.
Promote safety and health
Aimed mainly at older residents the health and wellbeing event offered a range of activities and resources designed to promote safety and health throughout the spring season.
The event featured information stands and engaging talks, including 35 blood pressure checks and advice provided by NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex. Essex County Fire and Rescue Service also scheduled home safety check visits.
Highlights included a seated exercise session and an interactive performance on scamming by the Arc Theatre Company. Attendees were treated to free information bags and lunch.

This was a free event organised by the Community Development and Wellbeing team at Epping Forest District Council (EFDC), which was part funded by the Community Safety Partnership.
