He scooped an Apollo Interzone Junior Mountain Bike donated by social enterprise company Bikeworks. Paul who runs Common Good Transport, a community-based transport service in Loughton, was delighted with his prize.

Crystal and Paul, who are supporting the young carers charity ‘Action for Family Carers’ said:

It was a lovely, happy surprise to win a fabulous teen mountain bike on the Epping Forest Community Lottery.

We’ll definitely be keeping up our subscription in the hope of the big win.

The couple have 2 children who are looking forward to sharing the new bike.

Epping Forest Community Lottery raises money for good causes in the Epping Forest district with 60% of each ticket going to support the causes.

Tickets cost £1 each, and winners could scoop up to £25,000. Draws will take place every Saturday at 8pm. The lucky winners will be informed by email and will have the money transferred automatically into their bank account.

30 good causes have already signed up to be part of the lottery. There is still time for others to join.

Each good cause is given its own page on the website to direct their supporters to. Causes will receive 50p from every £1 ticket sold, with a further 10p going into a Central Fund that will also be distributed to good causes.
